Christine Greene

Staff Attorney

Christine Greene is a compassionate advocate who believes that client-centered, holistic legal services are essential. She has dedicated her legal career to representing clients who are traditionally underrepresented in the court system—including victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse, sexual assault and sex trafficking.

Ms. Greene earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Virginia and her J.D. from the Washington and Lee University School of Law and is licensed to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and the U.S. District Court District of Maryland.

Prior to joining the Amara team, Ms. Greene practiced family and domestic relations law in the private sector. Previously, she served as the Director of Legal Programs for the Neighborhood Legal Services Program for the District of Columbia (NLSP). Ms. Greene is a Core Adjunct Professor at the California Southern University School of Law. She teaches online courses including Arbitration, Contracts, Civil Procedure, Cultural Diversity, Domestic Relations, Immigration, Legal Research, Legal Writing and Property.

As a former consultant for the American Bar Association, Ms. Greene created a toolkit and resource guide for pretrial Public Defenders. This toolkit was published on the ABA’s website to aid in improving the quality of holistic representation for defendants nationwide.

Ms. Greene is excited and honored to join the Amara Legal Center team.
