Rachel Ament

Senior Copywriter / Copy Editor, Sensis

Rachel Ament is a senior copywriter and copy editor at the advertising firm Sensis, where she works with mission-driven organizations and brands. She has written about social justice, culture and the arts for the New York Times, The Paris Review, NPR, Teen Vogue, Oxygen, and Mariashriver.com, among other publications. She edited and compiled the book of essays Jewish Daughter Diaries: True Stories of Being Loved Too Much by Our Moms, which featured original writing by The Big Bang Theory’s Mayim Bialik. She has a Master’s in Special Education from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor’s in Psychology and English from Tulane University. Rachel is passionate about bettering the lives of people from vulnerable populations and is excited to serve on Amara’s board.
