Lori holds a Bachelor’s in Criminology, Law, and Society with a concentration in Conflict Analysis & Resolution and a Master’s in Public Policy with a concentration in Terrorism, Transnational Crime, and Corruption from George Mason University.

 

Lori Sims has been an advocate for vulnerable populations for well over a decade serving victims/survivors and building capacity in the areas of domestic violence, human trafficking, mental health, and at-risk youth. Ms. Sims is also a qualified mental health professional in the state of Virginia. Ms. Sims travels the country training state, local, tribal, and territorial law enforcement officers on the subjects of Advanced Human Trafficking Investigations on behalf of “Erase Child Trafficking” a 501(c)(3). She instructs on the topics Trauma-Informed Care, Victimization, Victim-Centered Approach, and Survivor Outreach and Engagement.
