On September 18, 2017 the Amara Legal Center and Courtney’s House helped J.L. Voker launch her new book “Welcome to the Game” at Busboys and Poets on 14th St. NW, DC. This book outlines J.L.’s story surviving sex trafficking from a young age in various parts of the United States. J.L. is a former Amara client. Amara is incredibly proud of her success.
